Security incident – additional information

In reference to our previous communication regarding the cyberattack on our company, we would like to inform you that we are treating this incident with the highest priority. We have reported the incident to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ensuring the security of our clients and associates. We have also notified the Central Cybercrime Bureau, NASK, and CERT, and investigations are ongoing.

Unfortunately, among the stolen data were personal data processed by AIUT as the data controller. The analysis confirmed that the breach included information such as first names, last names, PESEL numbers, and scans of certain identity documents. The scope of the data varies depending on the processes in which the affected individuals were directly involved. The company is in the process of notifying these individuals, providing detailed information about the breach, including recommendations on further steps and the extent of the support the company will offer. Employees most affected by the incident will be reimbursed for the cost of document replacement and will receive an additional paid day off to handle the necessary formalities.

We are currently continuing the process of identifying the data, and we are continuously informing Clients, Employees, and Associates whose confidential information may have been exposed. We also wish to emphasize that the extracted data constitutes a trade secret of our company, and as such, we will take appropriate legal actions against individuals who attempt to retrieve or disclose this information. We want to stress that the security of our clients, associates, and the protection of their data are our highest priorities.

Our teams are working intensively to further strengthen our security measures and to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and cybersecurity experts.

Due to the ongoing investigation, we cannot provide further details at this time. Thank you for your understanding and trust.
