AIUT and FAIRP are strengthening business relations between Poland and Taiwan. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed

On April 23, 2024, at the initiative of AIUT, representatives from the Polish Automation and Robotics Association (FAIRP) and Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Association (TAIROA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Gliwice regarding a strategic partnership and business cooperation between the industrial sectors of both countries.

Polish industry is tightening economic cooperation with Taiwan. On April 23, at AIUT's headquarters in Gliwice, Tomasz Hajduk, the president of the Polish Automation and Robotics Association, and Kou-I Szu, the president of the Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Association, signed an agreement called Memorandum of Understanding concerning cooperation in establishing contacts between member companies of both organizations to exploit business opportunities in Poland, Taiwan, and on a global scale. As part of their mutual arrangements, the associations also foresee the exchange of knowledge, experiences, mutual visits, and participation in industry events.

– We have started another important dialogue. The Polish industrial sector is expanding dynamically and offers engineering technologies and services that the global market demands. Therefore, FAIRP's efforts to strengthen cooperation with twin organizations in the global industrial sector are crucial. Taiwan is important direction for economic cooperation, and the signed agreement clearly confirms that Poland, as supplier of advanced technology from Industry 4.0, is a desired and recognized partner. We will certainly make good use of our mutual potential – said Tomasz Hajduk, president of the Polish Automation and Robotics Association.

TAIROA, which has been operating for over 40 years, is the most representative and influential trade association in the area of smart manufacturing and smart service industry in Taiwan. It currently comprises more than 300 member companies.

– The aim of our agreement is to strengthen cooperation between Taiwan and Poland in the realm of realizing industrial projects and joint growth in the international market. I am convinced that this partnership will bring tangible benefits to both sides and will become the foundation for building interesting projects – highlighted Kou-I Szu, president of the Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Association.

The visit of Taiwanese representatives to Poland was initiated and hosted by AIUT and FAIRP

The cooperation agreement was signed during a three-day visit of representatives from the Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Association (TAIROA) in Poland, whose initiator and one of the main hosts is AIUT, Poland's largest integrator of industrial automation systems and a founding member of the Polish Automation and Robotics Association, alongside FAIRP.

– The Polish market for industrial systems and new technologies is one of the best-rated among global manufacturing companies. However, appropriate partnerships are necessary to carry out large, complex projects. The goal of our meeting with the Taiwanese representatives is to showcase the capabilities of FAIRP member companies in providing industrial services and our expertise in industrial robotization and digitization at a global level. Demonstrating our national potential in building production systems and a rich background in technology development through planned study visits to AIUT, VIGO Photonics, Mago, Maspex, Goodram, and Saule Technologies, provides an excellent starting point for discussions on joint project execution with TAIROA members on the international stage – stated Marek Gabryś, President of AIUT Group.

The signing of the agreement was attended by ambassadors from the Taipei Representative Office in Poland and representatives of FAIRP member companies. Throughout the visit, the TAIROA delegation was accompanied by representatives from the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

About the Polish Automation and Robotics Association

The Polish Automation and Robotics Association (FAIRP) represents Polish integrators, suppliers, and vendors (over 50 percent domestic capital) who provide solutions in automation and robotics. The association was established in September 2021 and since then has been a rapidly developing organization aimed at bringing together the majority of the potential of the Polish industry within the next 5 years. Currently, FAIRP has over 40 members.

FAIRP facilitates cooperation among its members to create consortia for projects, combining specializations and engineering/production resources. The association also promotes the business and technological opportunities (in the field of automation and robotics services of industrial processes) of its members both in Poland and internationally, actively participating in industry conferences and fairs. It also supports cooperation between national and international organizations focused on the automation and robotics industries. Learn more at www.fairp.pl
