EEC Trends 2023: 10 debates on the future of the European and global economy

This year's EEC Trends conference, held on February 6, 2023, in Warsaw at the Sheraton Grand Warsaw Hotel, is a series of 10 opinionated debates on the future of the European and global economy. The event is a prelude to Central Europe's prestigious business meeting - the 15th European Economic Congress in Katowice, scheduled for April 24 to 26, 2023, at the International Congress Center in Katowice.

EEC Trends experts meet to discuss the most vital and recent topics for the development of the economy regarding current geopolitical realities and market needs along with new technological opportunities and available solutions. One of this year's conference key topics covered the role of digitization of industrial and business processes. This was discussed during the "Digitization put into practice" session, in which Marek Gabryś, president of AIUT, was invited to participate. Experienced speakers discussed the business realities of implementing modern technologies as well as which factors stimulate and which ones limit the process of digitization of the economy in a broader spectrum. They also concluded that there is a need to digitize in a thoughtful manner which means that the quality of data processing is far more important than the quantity of it, and that only this is the way to manage and optimize processes in companies in the expected way.
